The 2013 Philly Campaign Gears up for Kick Off

The 2013 TDHC Philly campaign will be kicking off Wednesday, June 12th at Tir Na Nog from 5 to 8pm. Enjoy discounted beverages, free appetizers, Wii Bowling, a Big Lebowski costume contest, and plenty of good company, as always!
At the kickoff, team welcome packets will be ready for pick up for participants. Best dressed in the costume contest, following the Big Lebowski theme and as judged by those in attendance, wins a $50 gift certificate to Tir Na Nog! We will also announce the winner of this year's t-shirt design contest!

T-Shirt Design Contest Underway

Following tradition, a design competition will once again determine this year's official event t-shirt design for both Philly and Buffalo campaigns. Anyone is welcome to submit a design online, which will be put up to vote online. This year's winning designer will receive a Bialetti espresso machine, valued at $199.95, donated by Premier Gourmet! As well as a free t-shirt, of course!
Submit your creation by Friday, May 31 at 12 noon EST for your chance to have your design featured on the official TDHC t-shirts. The voting period will open online shortly thereafter (you can vote daily); the design with the most votes win. The winning design will be announced at the Philly kick-off party on June 12th.

For the first time, we are offering an early sign-up discount - only $250 per team if you register before June 5th! Get your team together early to get a head start on kicking cancer to the gutter. This year's grand finale tournament will be held on Saturday, September 21st at North Bowl. 39 teams will once again compete in both fundraising and bowling! Teams must consist of 6 to 10 people.

The Dude Hates Cancer arrived in Buffalo last year after six successful campaigns in Philadelphia, ready to take root in the Queen city. And take root it did. Twenty-nine teams participated and raised over $30,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-- a terrific start to what will surely become one of the area's top bowling fundraisers.
